On 19 July 2018, Justice Arnold granted a High Court Order that will require the UK’s major internet service providers – principally Sky, BT, Virgin Media, TalkTalk, plusnet and EE – to block and disrupt servers that host illegal streams of the Premier League’s matches across the whole of the next football season that begins in August 2018. The order is considered by the EPL as an enhancement of a similar judgement granted for the entirety of the 2017/18 season which the EPL says was hugely successful, enabling the it to disrupt or block nearly 200,000 illegal streams of its content. - Joseph O'Halloran, Rapid TV News [via/web:http://streaming-tv.us]
