Representative Elijah E. Cummings, Gregory Meeks and Frank Pallone Jr. have sent a letter to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) asking it to investigate the comments. They want to know the extent of the fakery, which would violate laws barring fraudulent representation in any subject under the executive branch's oversight.
