Sony Should Release 'The Interview' For Streaming Instead Of To Theaters

By now you’ve probably heard about threats from hackers to do a physical attack at theatres that exhibit Sony Pictures’ “The Interview,” which is expected to debut on Christmas day. [...] So, here’s my proposal. Sony should release the movie online. [...] I have to admit I’m curious about The Interview and would be willing to spend $4.99 to watch it online. But fear of terrorism aside, I have other qualms about a comedy about an assassination of a living person. However unpleasant a human being Kin Jon-un — North Korea’s “Supreme Leader” may be, he’s still a person and there is nothing funny about a plot to kill him. Even the assassination of Osama bin Laden, however welcome it may have been — was not something to laugh about. - Larry Magid,Forbes [via/web:http://streaming-tv.us]
