Gallup poll says TV is first for news, the internet is second, print a distant third

The broadcasting industry may be in the throes of disruption due to cord-cutting and other emerging trends, but television is still the number one source of news for most Americans, according to a new Gallup poll of news consumption habits — followed fairly closely by the internet.
