Gallup poll says TV is first for news, the internet is second, print a distant third

The broadcasting industry may be in the throes of disruption due to cord-cutting and other emerging trends, but television is still the number one source of news for most Americans, according to a new Gallup poll of news consumption habits — followed fairly closely by the internet. The number of people who say that they get their news primarily from printed newspapers or radio, meanwhile, comes in at single-digit levels. - Mathew Ingram
